We're migrating our Email Service to Open-Xchange (OX)

Over the past couple of weeks, you may have received an email letting you know we're upgrading our mail service, this will come as a relief to a lot of you, but some of you may be asking 'why?'.

As technology moves forward, so do we and upgrading our Webmail service is a crucial part of this.

We're moving to Open-Xchange, a modern, sleek and updated Webmail provider that can provide a huge number of benefits for you.

'What do we get with Open-Xchange?' you may ask.

Along with an updated and modern User Interface, you'll be able to take advantage of several benefits including:

  • 100GB limit (up from 25GB) on all mailboxes
  • Backups held for 30 days (previously 14 days)
  • Calendar Sync & Calendar Subscribe Options
  • Style your Webmail with custom themes
  • See multiple email accounts in Webmail
  • Download All feature when backing up emails
  • Always BCC feature when sending emails
  • Email Analytics
  • Domain Catchalls available
  • Improved security, support & reliability
  • Significantly improved search functionality
  • Inbound Email Migration Tool

The process itself couldn't be simpler either, all you need to do is quite simply sign out of your old Webmail (On any systems it may be signed in, such as Outlook or your mobile) and sign back in again on the new system (Or said third-party platforms) with a new password that we will create and send to you.

The process for us is quite simple, you confirm the date that best suits you for your migration and we then use our Migration tool to take your Mailbox from point A to point B. The only thing that won't come over is your contacts list, but luckily we give you plenty of time to get this moved over using our video and text guide HERE

Sounds super simple right?
