2026 Platform Plans

You may not know this, but we update our platforms every week, improving our systems performance, security and functionality so we can continue to deliver the best service & product possible to our clients.

Most of these changes go unnoticed as it’s what keep our services online, however 2026 is going to be different.

This year we plan on completely rebuilding and enhancing our suite of website solutions, from the CMS (The Toolkit) our clients use to edit their websites, to the Webkit engine that powers all our websites 24/7

We’re incredibly excited about improving our systems, however we’re delighted to confirm that we have already rebuilt our front end website cache system this month, which has improved website load times by 10 times what they were before.

Prior to our new cache service going live in May, our website pages would load between 0.6 & 1 second, however because our cache now handles the majority of web traffic, we're now seeing load times of 0.03 to 0.06 seconds across even our largest website pages.

Having web pages & content load instantly is a huge positive for Google & visitors, with wait times reduced and in most cases, now removed all together.

We’ve also upgraded all our clients Secure Socket Layer (SSL - padlock that shows your website is secure) service to TLS 1.3, which is the latest version of the Transport Layer Security protocol for SSL certificates.

We’re investing our time & resource into creating a platform of different systems that will power our client sites for the next 10 years, giving our customers the fastest, safest, most reliable and modern websites for their businesses.

We love to improve & innovate, with many of our ideas and plans coming from clients and our Chichester team.

We'll get back to it, but please keep client feedback coming as it's what helps us shape our services & features.
