About Me
I have been web-developing for just over a year professionally now - and as a hobbyist for a while beyond that. Having worked in a number of different fields: hospitality, construction and landscaping, and automotive to name a few, I feel lucky to say that I now work in an industry that I am passion about - web and software.
If I'm not behind a computer screen at Toolkit HQ, then you'll likely find me behind my own at home working on a passion project and learning new skills, or playing and watching my favourite eSports.
My Role at Toolkit
I've been working as a web developer here at Toolkit for almost 8 months now, leading frontend development for 6 of those months after having been passed the torch by our previous developer - Will.
I handle everything from - the initial builds of websites; creating custom effects, animations and functionality; to fixing, making changes to, or intigrating 3rd party services with both new and existing websites.
What's your favourite part about your job at Toolkit?
My favourite part about my job is problemsolving when given a new technical challenge or task to conquer that isn't like anything that I've been faced with before - there is nothing more satisfying than implementing a solution to a new problem, or seeing something that I have put time into building come into fruition. Also, it goes without saying but- it's always nice to have my work appreciated by my peers and our clients too!
What are some of your favourite features or effects that you've worked on at Toolkit so far?
I've built so many custom effects on so many sites, even in the short time that I've been here at Toolkit, some large and some small, but here are just a few of my favourites:
