Hello, I'm James, Client Care & Account Manager here at Toolkit!
Tell us about yourself
I've previously worked as a jack of all trades, travel agent, trainee electrician, retail sales. You name it, I've probably tried it at some point.
If I'm not at work you can typically find me either in the Gym, jogging or spending time with my family.
When did you join Toolkit & why?
I started in Toolkit in Feb 2024, I'd actually interviewed previously but got beaten to the post on that occasion. But, what I knew after that first meeting was I wanted to work at Toolkit Websites.
The team atmosphere and mission that Toolkit set out to achieve immediately grabbed me and I knew I wanted to join them for the ride, I'm very glad that I was remembered and picked the second time around!
What is it you do at Toolkit Websites?
Here at Toolkit I'm the Client Care and Account Manager, I help all our existing and new clients with any queries or questions they may have and am at the forefront of Toolkits world class support (if I do say so myself!).
I also help out with development if it's something quick and easy that I can handle and manage the content our social media channels & this blog publish!

What's your best moment...so far?
There's so many to pick from! For me, it has to be taking the reigns over from the previous head of support and finally being given a chance to shine and show both Toolkit and our clients what I'm made of.
Other than that, it has to be meeting some of the amazing people we're fortunate enough to call our clients and hearing their stories.
Are you local to Chichester?
Yes! I live in the local area and have for 3/4 of my life. I've also lived in Portsmouth, Southampton and Shoreham, so know the local area well.
What's the most important lesson you've learned at Toolkit?
Learning to walk before I run. I'm always keen to learn new things and get involved but Toolkit has taught me that I need to perfect the basics before I branch out and over-extend myself.
(I've also learnt that not everybody likes the same music, sorry guys!)
