Following on from our recent
Google Analytics 4 blog post
back in November it seems Google has changed it’s mind with how users can continue to manage their website traffic tracking.
Anyone with Universal Analytics, so those who set up their websites and analytics accounts pre 2021, will have their accounts automatically configured with a new Google Analytics property that ensures their web traffic data continues to be tracked.
This means you do not need to manually update your Google Analytics accounts as previously explained
here.
This will breathe a sigh of relief for many of our clients and means normal service will continue as your website traffic data will continue to be recorded in your Analytics account.
