This month's website of the month goes to Sussex IFCA. The Sussex Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority is one of ten IFCAs around the coast of England, which manage sea fisheries resources and the marine environment.
Colour Scheme
The website follows the IFCA colour scheme of teal and blue on a white background.
Features
Intended partly as an information resource, the website needed to include quite a lot of information about the Authority, the research they carry out, local species and habitats, as well as regulations and past consultations.
It was important to balance this with images and display the information in a way that both looks great and makes it easy for visitors to find what they're looking for quickly.
Imagery
Sussex IFCA provided some great images of their vessels, marine life and the local areas they cover, which really help to illustrate the work they carry out.
Responsive Nature
The website passes Google's Mobile Friendly test so that people using any device can easily access the website.
