How It Works

Shoprocket is a fantastic third party platform that powers thousands of eCommerce websites globally. We've chosen Shoprocket as our eCommerce partner and have trained our staff on building products and entire shops inside their platform.

We quote to build your website, and included in the price will be the construction of your entire online shop, whether that's selling jumpers & T-Shirts, or tickets to upcoming festivals.

Once built & published, you'll be able to manage your own eCommerce services through their easy to use control panel. For additional support, they have an extensive support website available to their customers and can be contacted for support at any time.

Your eCommerce Sitemap & Structure

Plan out how your eCommerce shop will work and navigate once built. The more organised your website is, the easier it will be for your clients to navigate & buy on your website.

Map it out using these definitions, to help, we've listed examples from a retail clothing store:

Categories - Men, Womens, Children or Summer, Winter, Autumn could each be a product category
Product Ranges - Jeans, Jumpers, T-Shirts could all be individual ranges of products within a category
Products - 10 types of Jeans, 10 Jumpers & 10 T-shirts would count as 30 different products
Product Variations - If each Jumper, Jean & T-Shirt had 10 colour options, there would be 300 total variations

eCommerce Functionality

Shoprocket is a fantastic platform for buying & selling, but like with any software, it has limitations when it comes to more complex or advanced buying functionality.

We need to know from the outset if your buying experience requires anything outside of the normal 'add to cart' process that Shoprocket offers.

Custom functionality could be seemingly simple things like ordering samples, having variable shipping costs per product, location based differentials on orders, 'build your product' widgets or stock database integrations with your existing system.

These features would potentially significantly increase the cost if requested during the project, so use the form above to tell exactly what you need and we'll advise accurately from the start.
