Our Chichester Home

We moved our offices to Chichester in 2022 as part of a permanent relocation from our temporary Basepoint home over in Havant, which kindly hosted us through the Covid period that hit so many small businesses so hard.

Since our move, we’ve realised that Chichester offers the perfect environment for small businesses to thrive. We’ve been blown away by the support of local residents & established businesses to help us succeed. There is a real desire to work only with local companies, which we saw first hand when Carpet First came to us and only us for their new website after laying the carpet at our offices in 2022.

Located right on the Southgate one way system, we have thousands of cars & pedestrians pass our ‘TOOLKIT’ signage on a daily basis, so we now know exactly why they say it’s all about location, location, location!

From knocks on our door about our services to calls that inevitably start with ‘I saw your office and wanted to reach out’, it’s been a brilliant start to life for us in the city.

Just 5 minutes walk from our offices, Chichester high street is thriving, with retail still the beating heart of the city, with new businesses, from beautiful restaurants to new clothing retail stores, opening their doors all the time.

We’re lucky to have worked with a number of Chichester businesses already , from the Chichester Natural History Society to a Cocktail Masterclass hostess in Michelle who’s very kindly hosted us recently for our Christmas party.

In the summer of 2024 we partnered with Bishop Luffa School, Chichester's leading Secondary School, taking on young students in our first ever Toolkit Internships. It was a great success and brilliant to see such young, driven & talented people show off their skills, giving them the chance to take their first steps into the Design & Development space.

Being a stone's throw from Chichester Train Station , we have been able to recruit the team we have now, with staff easily commuting in from Portsmouth, Bognor & Angmering and walking the 2-3 minutes it takes to get to our front door.
