This week's website of the week goes to Open Doors. Open Doors provide family homestay accommodation, as well as constructing bespoke educational travel programmes for their overseas clients.
Colour Scheme
The colour scheme of the website is mainly orange tones, whites and light greys but also has some accent colours of purple and teal blue on the homepage to bring it all together.
Interactivity
The website features a slide show header, clear and easy navigation on the menu bar and to the left of the header image, a interactive Google map, Google Translate option and social media integration.
Imagery
The website features a range of different images on each page, from the header images at the top, to the collage style images towards the bottom of the internal pages, keeping it visual and helps to break up the text panels.
Responsive Nature
The website passes Google's Mobile Friendly test meaning that the website looks good on desktop, tablet and mobile. This allows the website to be found in Google Mobile search results.
