The Toolkit Version 4
We have now upgraded all our clients to The Toolkit version 4.

You don't need to do anything to upgrade, and The Toolkit will remain as easy to use as ever.  There is also no charge for this upgrade which is part of our ongoing improvements.

The design has been upgraded to a more modern look and feel while keeping the same layout so you know exactly where to find all the links and buttons you have previously been using.



New Features

- New Editor
We have completely rebuilt the editor so it is much more reliable and works in Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera and even Internet Explorer.  We think you'll find the new design much easier to use.

- New Settings Tabs
We've created new tabs to easily access the different settings for each page and quickly switch between the options.

- Page Backups
Included in the New Settings Tabs are Page Backups.  The Toolkit will automatically save a copy every time you update a page.  If you make a mistake you can quickly and easily restore a previous page version!

- New Page Wizards
We've added new wizards to insert a YouTube video, Google Map or custom HTML onto a page.  There's also a button to clean up the code to ensure your pages load as fast as possible.

- Edit Form Intros
If we have built a bespoke form for you then you'll now be able to edit the text above the form, called a 'Form Intro'.  This will mean you can quickly make changes without needing to email the support team!

- Edit Footer Links
We've opened up the Footer module so that you can edit the links within your footer, add new links, and delete links.  This is great for adding extra navigation of search engine links to your website.

- Social Media Bar
This new feature is really exciting.  Simply by adding the links for your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn accounts the feeds from these accounts will load directly on your website.

The majority of our clients are on the latest Webkit Platform and for these clients we are going to offer the Social Media Bar free of charge. If you are yet to upgrade then this is another great reason to upgrade to our latest platform!  Please note that the Footer Links and Editing Form Intros may also require your website to be upgraded to the latest Webkit Platform.


If you have any problems you can also easily switch back to version 3 however our support team are also on hand to answer any questions you might have.
