Our website of the week is this clean, smart design for the GIA Driving School in Manchester.
George Adamia, who runs the school, is an experienced driving teacher who is passionate about training good drivers for life, and he wanted a website which reflects his professional approach to teaching.
The navy blue and silver colour scheme was inspired by the colours of George's car, and the ample size and white background give the site a spacious feel. George also supplied us with some great photos of himself and his students, which are shown in a slideshow at the top of every page.
However, George didn't want his visitors to simply arrive, admire his website and then leave again - he really wanted them to get in touch and book lessons. With this in mind, we designed the large, prominent 'call to action' which reads 'Book Lessons Now'. While tastefully integrated into the rest of the design, this feature is specially placed and coloured to attract users' attention, and to give them as much encouragement as possible to get in touch.
When we had finished building the site for him, George let us know how he felt about the service he'd received:
"The service is excellent, keep on doing it this way...Thanks for everything"
